She will visit the department of Foundation of Economic Theory I for the 2013-2014 academic year. Welcome! Here is Maria's presentation:

After obtaining my PhD in Economics from Tilburg University in 2000, I was a Marie Curie research fellow at the University of Dortmund until 2002 and then a lecturer, associate professor and reader at the University of Nottingham. My research interests are bargaining theory, noncooperative foundations of cooperative solution concepts, government formation, social preferences (inequity aversion, altruism, spite, reciprocity) and behavioral and experimental economics. My work has been published in Games and Economic Behavior, Economic Journal, American Political Science Review, Social Choice and Welfare and Theory and Decision among others.
