I am a sociologist teaching Experimental and Behavioral Economics at the University of the Basque Country in Bilbao. Before, I spent some years at the Nuffield CESS in Oxford and the former Max Planck Institute of Economics in Jena. I have enjoyed wonderful academic visits at EssexIndianaETH and Monash. A good friend told me once that one should concentrate on two research topics. Focusing on only one is too risky and trying to do more than two is too ambitious. I listened to him and since 2010 I have tried to limit my work to the moral consequences of unemployment and decision rules in legislative bargaining. I have recently become a little bit more ambitious though and now I am also doing some research on political behavior.
